Chinese brand expands Kiwi network

Forthing New Zealand has expanded its authorised sales and service network by teaming up with two dealerships from the start of this month.

The Chinese brand’s vehicles are now available from Winger Motors North Shore on Wairau Road, Auckland, and Ebbett Tauranga in Bay of Plenty.

Forthing Tauranga can be found on Cameron Road, Tauranga, but is due to move to a dedicated showroom on Third Avenue in August.

Since launching in New Zealand in April this year, Forthing has already established dealerships in central Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. The latest announcement takes its network to six sites nationwide.

Todd Groves, Forthing NZ general sales manager, says: “We always said the initial four locations were just the beginning.

“Adding Winger North Shore and Ebbett Tauranga is a clear signal that Forthing is here for the long term and that we’re serious about making our vehicles accessible to Kiwis wherever they live and work. 

“The Bay of Plenty and Auckland’s North Shore are significant markets and we’re excited to be part of them.”
