Tiny bus completes epic trip

Three brothers have driven a tiny bus built in the 1940s for seaside children’s rides the length of the UK.

James, Andrew and Will Emerton completed their journey from Land’s End to John O’ Groats in eight days during April.

The trio took turns driving the miniature petrol-powered bus, which is road legal and has a top speed of about 19kph, as part of a challenge to raise money for three charities and celebrate the centenary of their family business.

The bus measures about one metre tall and 2.5m long, reports the BBC.

Andrew says it was Will’s “crazy” idea to drive it the full length of the country as the brothers tried to think of what they could do for charity.
