Women in Automotive New Zealand is holding a special panel discussion this month that will focus on attracting and developing more women into sales careers in the industry.

Titled “Driving Change: Supercharging our industry talent pool of female sales professionals”, the event is being hosted by Auckland City Toyota at its Mt Wellington Super Store on Thursday, September 26.

The event, from 4-6pm, will feature four panellists, including Susanne Hardy, pictured, assistant vice-president – customer group executive at Toyota New Zealand, and Russell Phillips, managing director of Automotive Employment.

Other members of the panel are Sharlene Van Dijk, chief executive of Lexus of Auckland City, and Adrienne Ensor, who spent nearly four decades in the automotive industry and is a former chief executive of Cooke Howlison Toyota.

Joe Consendine, a consultant on diversity, equity and inclusion, is moderator for the occasion, which will begin with networking drinks and refreshments.

Auckland City Toyota posted on Facebook that together with Armstrong’s it is proud to be hosting the event.
