Car sale heaven-sent

A car salesman uses a mix of high-intensity and overtly religious sales tactics to seal a divine deal in this comedy sketch from the US.

Frank Caeti, an American actor and comedian, plays the overzealous dealer at the Kurt Jones AutoPlex whose unusual approach to business includes praying with potential buyers.

Delivering a crazy mix of fire-and-brimstone preaching and aggressive sales moves, Caeti’s character pushes hard to convince a visiting couple to buy what appears to be the only car in the showroom.

The consumers, despite their initial reluctance to purchase, are hilariously convinced to purchase the Buick LaCrosse – referred to as a Buick Lamante – by the salesman’s evangelical approach to negotiating.

The sketch appeared in the comedy TV series, which was on the small screen in the US from 1995 to 2009.
