World debut in Germany

Leapmotor has made a powerful impression at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich with the world premiere of the B05 and the B10’s commercial launch.

The much-anticipated B05, pictured above, is a sporty hatchback, which is a “bold expression of performance ambition and cutting-edge innovation”.

Its sleek, muscular silhouette is inspired by Leapmotor’s “tech-nature aesthetic”, while technical innovations include frameless doors and 19-inch “swift-wing” alloys. With a shoulder width of 1,880mm, the broadest in its c-segment, the B05 offers a bold stance and spacious comfort.

Measuring 4,430mm in length, 1,880mm in width and 1,520mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2735 mm, the EV is engineered “for performance and stance”.

The B10, pictured below, is a smart, long-range electric SUV, which “underscores” Leapmotor’s long-term strategy for global expansion with Europe at the heart of its ambitions.

Deliveries started simultaneously with its launch at IAA, and will be available in more than 30 countries and regions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America.

Built on the latest Leap3.5 architecture, the B10 sets a benchmark for “intelligent” electric SUVs by offering advanced connectivity and spacious design. It has a starting price of €29,900 or around NZ$59,200.

The EV features a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen powered by the Snapdragon 8155 chip, and a “fluid navigation experience” with the introduction of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via OTA software updates.

The latest LeapOS 4.0 Plus system provides a customisable interface, immersive 3D cockpit and multi-application display, including smart features as multi-scenario modes and full remote control via Leapmotor’s mobile app.

Two battery options are available for the B10 – the Pro version with a 56.2kWh pack offering up to 361km of WLTP range, and the ProMax with a 67.1kWh pack for 434km. Both support 11kW AC charging and ultra-fast DC charging up to 168kW, enabling a 30-80 per cent charge in less than 20 minutes.

The EV is available in two trims. The Life version has a standard 1.8m2 panoramic roof glass with electric sunshade, 18-inch alloys, 360-degree parking camera and a complete ADAS package.

The Design trim adds eco leather seats, ambient lighting, heated, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats, and some more extra features.
