Truck range grows

Isuzu Trucks NZ has completed the rollout of its expanded model-year 2026 N Series 4x4 range, with the arrival of the new NMS crew cab broadening the brand’s light duty all wheel drive offering.

Where the line-up previously consisted of two variants of the NPS 450 4x4, customers can now choose from seven models across the NMS, NPS and NQS ranges. 

The expanded portfolio provides a broader selection of transmission options, gross vehicle mass (GVM) ratings and cab configurations, supporting a wide variety of applications including apiculture, off highway work and, in particular, service vehicles supporting civil construction.

The new N Series 4x4 range, pictured, now offers GVM ratings from 5,995kg to 8,000kg, model dependent, a choice of manual or nine-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission (AMT) with the NMS and NQS, and day cab and crew-cab configurations depending on the model.

Advanced safety technologies are fitted as standard across the range, including electronic stability control and electric park brake, helping operators meet increasing safety expectations in demanding operating environments. 

David Ballantyne, general manager of Isuzu Trucks NZ, says the expanded line-up responds directly to demand for more capable and better equipped light-duty 4x4 trucks. 

“Where we previously offered two variants of the highly successful NPS 450 4x4, customers can now choose from seven variants across the NMS, NPS and NQS model range,” he adds. 

Ballantyne says the introduction of Isuzu’s latest nine-speed dual-clutch AMT, now available on the NMS and NQS models, delivers tangible benefits for operators.
