Chrysler, which has moved away from plans to go all-electric by 2028, is adopting a multi-powertrain approach.

The marque’s line-up will expand with a car that takes cues from the futuristic Halcyon concept, pictured, which was shown in 2024.

Chief executive officer Chris Feuell says the company will offer “multi-energy, incredible design and performance, but also interior flexibility and versatility” into the future.

An updated Pacifica is slated for 2026 with the minivan set to have new front and rear designs inspired by the Halcyon.

Chrysler has been a minivan-only brand since discontinuing the 300 sedan in 2023. An electric crossover was set to make its debut this year. It was pushed to 2026 and then put on hold.
