Andrew Humberstone has been unveiled as the managing director of Nissan Oceania having held the same position with Nissan Great Britain for the previous four years.

During that time, he has driven business transformation and growth, and has championed diversity, equity and inclusion.

Humberstone, pictured, oversaw a pivotal shift in network strategy with significant improvements made in the quality of customer service and representation in the UK.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in the car industry having previously headed Nissan’s Independent Markets in Europe after joining Nissan Europe in May 2019.

Humberstone starts in the role on April 1 and will report to Leon Dorssers, senior vice-president of marketing and sales, Nissan AMIEO – Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania. He replaces Adam Paterson, who is returning to Nissan Americas.

“Andrew’s arrival at Nissan Oceania coincides with our plans for continued transformation and growth in the region,” says Dorssers.

“He brings to our team strong experience and knowledge. He takes the reins from Adam Paterson, who successfully guided our Oceania operation since 2021 and built strong foundations for the years to come.”
