New model set for summit launch
Omoda Jaecoo has issued a teaser of its new model that is set to take centre stage at the 2026 Chery Group International User Summit this month.
The summit will bring thousands of people from across the globe to experience the brand’s latest products and innovative technology and is being held in Wuhu, China, from October 18-24,.
One of the headline moments of this year’s event will be the unveiling of the new Omoda X, which combines sports car and off-road vehicle design cues.
Featuring sharp geometric lines, the brand says “speed, strength, sharpness and wildness all come together to create a new type of muscular appearance yet to be seen from Omoda Jaecoo”.
The summit will also include an annual endurance marathon, with select media completing a long-distance test drive in Omoda Jaecoo’s latest Super Hybrid vehicles.
The vehicles being used include the Omoda 4 SHS-H and Omoda 7 SHS-H, with the latter debuting a new 5kWh battery HEV technology.
