The Motor Trade Association warns a one-size-fits-all approach to right-to-repair laws is unsuitable for the car industry and may mean some marques exit the market. It’s working with dealers and repairers to find common ground on the way forward.

Safety is being cited as a major reason for vehicles to be excluded from changes to the Consumer Guarantees Act, says the Motor Industry Association.
