Free service plan offer

Kia NZ has launched a complimentary service plan programme hot on the wheels of what it describes as “the country’s best EV ownership offer”.

Available across the model range, but excluding the Carnival, the campaign is designed to make owning a Kia “even easier and more straightforward”.

Todd McDonald, managing director of Kia New Zealand, says: “It’s a natural progression for us following our earlier EV announcement. We want to provide a value-add proposition which enhances all new Kia drivers’ ownership experience and greater certainty around running costs.

“A service plan offers predictability, protection and convenience. There are no surprise costs, your new vehicle receives factory-scheduled maintenance at a dealership and delivers the convenience of knowing everything is taken care of from a servicing perspective.”

A three-year/45,000km plan applies to the EV3, EV4, EV5, EV6, EV9, Seltos and Tasman, pictured. Four years or 40,000km applies to the Stonic, Sportage and Sorento.

The initiative follows the special offer on the new EV3 and EV5. That features three years of “free motoring” with Kia NZ paying on-road costs and three years or 45,000km of road-user charges, three-year charging fees of $1,500 and a complimentary three-year/45,000km service plan.
