‘Exciting refresh’ to range

Volkswagen has launched its all new T-Roc, which introduces its first mild hybrid powertrain to the New Zealand market and marks a “significant step forward in efficiency and everyday usability”. 

With combined fuel consumption of 5.6l/100km and CO2 emissions of 126g/km, the compact SUV boasts a multi-link rear suspension, a feature also found in the larger Tiguan, and enhanced ride comfort and control.

“The T-Roc represents an exciting refresh to our SUV range, completing the line-up with a confident and considered point of entry,” says Chanelle McDonald, general manager of Volkswagen NZ.

“We know our customers are looking for vehicles that fit into their lives while reflecting what matters most to them. The T-Roc delivers that balance, combining comfort, efficiency and premium design.”

The SUV “evolves” the marque’s design language. An illuminated front-grille detailing and VW logo “create a confident presence day and night”, while the R-Line brings exclusive styling elements, sports-inspired detailing and premium-interior finishes.

The R-Line Launch Edition features leather-appointed sports seats, a heated sports steering wheel, 30-colour ambient lighting and a panoramic digital experience centred around its 12.9-inch infotainment system.

Advanced safety and driver-assistance systems are standard across the range. These include front assist with pedestrian and cyclist monitoring, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and dynamic road-sign display. The driver attention and alert monitor work together to support safer, more confident everyday driving.

Available in Life and R-Line Launch Edition variants, T-Roc is now available for order.
