Hawke’s Bay BMW and Mini Garage, part of the Bayswater Group, has become the first dealership to launch BMW Group’s new Retail.Next corporate identity.

Staff from BMW Group New Zealand were among the guests to celebrate the official opening of the country’s first fully refurbished facility incorporating the new branding.

It says the move is a significant step forward in the company’s retail experience and offers a premium and modernised customer experience while integrating the Mini brand into the dealership for the first time.

Retail.Next is a redesign of BMW and Mini’s retail concept and targets brand engagement, innovation and digitalisation.

BMW Group NZ describes the changes as an integration of three key pillars for the business – brand, product and people.

It adds the Retail.Next facility in Hawke’s Bay has been designed with flexibility and functionality in mind.

Features of the new-look showroom include modern interiors, open-concept areas and digital touchpoints, such as large-format screens, digitalised delivery processes, and enhanced connectivity through the BMW App.

Adam Shaver, BMW Group NZ managing director, says: “The investment Hawke’s Bay BMW has made into its refurbished facility and the integration of the Mini brand for the first time – through the new Retail.Next identity – marks a major milestone in delivering a premium and modernised customer experience.

“The launch of the Retail.Next facility marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for BMW and Mini in New Zealand.”
