Company’s network grows

NZ Cheap Cars has officially opened its first South Island dealership and expects the site to generate more than $8 million in annual revenue.
The Christchurch branch on Main South Road, Sockburn, is described as strategically important to the group.
NZ Cheap Cars was founded in September 2022 and now has six branches across its network. Its other sites are in Hamilton, Tauranga and North Shore, Mt Wellington and Botany in Auckland.
Michael Yang, chief executive officer, says Christchurch is a key part of the company’s growth plans.
“It’s a fast-developing market and we’re confident that our high-volume, affordable vehicle model will thrive here. Demand has been strong from day one,” he adds.
“Each new branch strengthens our national position. Christchurch is a flagship investment and a signal of our long-term commitment to the South Island.”
