Company expands in Garden City

Turners Auto Retail has opened the second of three new dealerships in Christchurch as part of its expansion in the South Island.
The branch in Moorhouse Avenue, Sydenham, is a full-service Turners Cars site including vehicle buying and selling, and on-site finance and insurance services.
The large site has about 150 cars available for sale at any given time with an extra 50 vehicles being prepared for sale. Customers also have access to Turners’ extensive nationwide network of nearly 3,000 vehicles.
The Sydenham location follows the successful launch in April of a branch in Hornby and another in Wairakei Road is due to open in July.
As part of the rollout, the company’s Detroit Place branch closed on May 28 in conjunction with the opening of the Moorhouse Avenue dealership.
The company says the Hornby branch has already received strong positive feedback from customers, reinforcing Turners’ confidence in Christchurch as a key growth market.
Turners Cars has also been recognised as New Zealand’s most trusted used-vehicle dealership for six consecutive years since the category’s inception for the Reader’s Digest award.
Greg Hedgepeth, chief executive officer, attributes this success to the company’s focus on “delivering value, efficiency and a fantastic customer experience”.
He says: “We keep things simple – great range of cars, sharp prices and service that delivers.
“Our Hornby branch is already seeing strong momentum, and I’m confident our Christchurch team will bring that same level of performance and value to customers at Moorhouse Ave.”
